The Lehigh Valley offers two distinct scholarship opportunities to support the education of deserving students: the Veterans Scholarship and the High School Graduate Scholarship. Each scholarship is dedicated to aiding students who plan to attend a two or four-year post-secondary institution within the Lehigh Valley, providing financial assistance to help them achieve their academic goals. Scholarship Details • The Lehigh Valley Veterans Scholarship grants $5,000 annually to one veteran. • The Lehigh Valley High School Graduate Scholarship awards $5,000 annually to one high school senior or graduate. Eligibility Criteria • For the Veterans Scholarship: Applicants must have served in the active military, naval, or air service and have been discharged with an Honorable Discharge or General Discharge Under Honorable Conditions. Priority is given to applicants demonstrating financial need. Provide proof of enrollment or acceptance to a two or four-year post-secondary institution in the Greater Lehigh Valley Area.. 3. Submit evidence of military service and discharge status (for Veterans Scholarship applicants). 4. For High School Graduate Scholarship applicants, provide transcripts and proof of STEM field study intent. 5. Demonstrate financial need through relevant financial documents.
