Ashbrook Scholar Program

The Ashbrook Scholarship is an annual and renewable scholarship to Ashland University, awarded solely on merit to the most promising students majoring or minoring in Political Science, Political Economy, or History. Scholarship Details • Annual, renewable scholarship awarded based on merit • Open to students majoring or minoring in Political Science, Political Economy, or History • Recognizes students who are dedicated to and passionate about American history and government • Limited number of scholarships available each academic year Eligibility Criteria • Must be an incoming or current student at Ashland University • Declared major or minor in Political Science, Political Economy, or History • Demonstrated academic excellence and commitment to understanding American democracy Application Process 1. Complete the Ashbrook Scholarship application available on Ashland University's website 2. If selected in the first round, participate in an interview with the Director of the Ashbrook Scholar Program 3. Applications are reviewed year-round for the following academic year To apply, complete this application. If your application advances past the first round of reviews, an interview will be arranged between you and the Director of the Ashbrook Scholar Program.
