Auburn University Alabama Resident Competitive Merit Scholarships

First-year student scholarships are awarded competitively to first-year students who enroll summer or fall immediately following high school graduation. Competitive merit scholarships are renewable for four years. First-year students must enroll summer or fall immediately following high school graduation to receive consideration. A scholarship application is not required. First-year students accepted for admission by mid-January receive automatic consideration. A scholarship application is not required. Auburn University offers competitive merit scholarships to Alabama residents. Incoming freshmen accepted for admission by mid-January receive automatic consideration. Merit scholarships will be awarded in mid-November, mid-December and late January. Requirements will vary, but applicants should have at least a 28 ACT/1300 SAT and a 3.5 GPA.
