Brian Murphy Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Junior Beefmaster Breeders Association (JBBA) who are high school seniors and interested in attending college to major in any field. The Brian Murphy Memorial Scholarship Fund is the culmination of efforts of those many Beefmaster enthusiasts who knew and were affected by Brian. Brian Murphy was a BBU employee and Director of Youth Activities when he passed away June 23, 1989. The fund was built in the spirit of and as a tribute to Brian to provide financial assistance for the recipient to attend the college of their choice. The scholarship is $1,800 per semester for four years, excluding summer or mini sessions.
