Caroline Guarini Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to students of Italian ancestry who are from Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York and interested in majoring music. The award is valued at $2,500-$5,000 and is given to an outstanding Italian American student (undergraduate or graduate) majoring in music or a music-related field. The student must originally be from New York, New Jersey or Connecticut and have a GPA of 3.5 (or the equivalent) or higher. Applicants must also meet the general NIAF eligibility criteria, including holding an active NIAF Membership, being enrolled full-time at a US accredited institution of higher education, and being a US Citizen or permanent resident alien. The application for the 2027-2028 academic year reopens on December 1, 2026, with a deadline of March 1, 2027 (11:59 p.m. EST).
