Choose Ohio First STEMM Scholarship

Throughout their generosity, the University of Akron offers many different types of scholarships for students. The Choose Ohio First STEMM Scholarship Program helps to increase more students to graduate in the science, technology, engineering, mathematics and healthcare fields from the University of Akron. To be eligible for the Choose Ohio First STEMM Scholarship, applicants must: be an Ohio resident; major in a STEMM field (see website for eligible majors); be a incoming freshman, current college student changing to a qualifying STEMM major, transfer student or non-traditional student; have a 3.0 GPA; and be enrolled full-time. Applications are open yearly from Oct. 1 to January 31 for the next academic year.
