CIP-PSTF Excellence in Planning Research Scholarship

The CIP-PSTF Excellence in Planning Research Scholarship is available to members of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) who attend a Canadian planning program. Undergraduate or graduate students conducting research on any subject matter are welcome to apply. The award is $6,000 and is given for the year's most outstanding research submission on any subject matter, based on the innovation, relevance to planning, soundness of research methodology, objectives, and potential contribution or benefit to the community. The project (e.g. thesis, practicum, major research paper, etc.) must be proposed or in progress at the time of application, with a target completion date within an 18-month period. Scholarships are not awarded for projects already completed. International students are eligible.
