Each year, CREW Chicago awards $5,000 scholarships for graduate and junior or senior undergraduate students majoring or concentrating in real estate or related real estate fields. Since its inception in 2014, CREW Chicago has awarded $154,000 in scholarships. Eligibility: • Applicant must be female or identify as female • Must be a U.S. citizen or Canadian citizen • Must be of legal age (adult) in applicant's state of residence • Applicant must be a junior or senior in undergraduate or a graduate student • Must be enrolled full-time (undergraduate: at least 12 credit hours per semester; graduate: at least 9 credit hours per semester) • Must have a minimum 3.5 GPA (4.0 scale) • Must not be a previous recipient of a CREW Network Foundation scholarship • Must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university • Intent is to pursue a career in commercial real estate In addition to the annual $5,000 scholarship CREW Chicago offers, there will also be a single $15,000 scholarship from the Debbie Frank Legacy Fund that will be awarded to a deserving graduate student. The two scholarships will run concurrently and share the June 4th deadline for application. Application review considerations include academic record, commitment to a career within the commercial real estate industry, extracurricular activities, history of employment and/or volunteer work, and personal and professional references.
