The Fellowship is designed to provide a springboard for aspiring public service leaders, regardless of sex, gender or political affiliation. The program is open to graduate students and working professionals who have successfully completed a minimum of 12 graduate credits in any academic discipline and have a minimum of three years of work experience. Scholarship Details • Six-month Fellowship with a $13,500 stipend • Tuition assistance for academic coursework • Policy field placements in state agencies, Legislature, and nonprofits • 25 hours per week of fieldwork during the spring semester • Professional development through workshops, conferences, and service • Access to mentoring network of over 300 alumnae Eligibility Criteria • Open to graduate students and working professionals • Minimum of 12 completed graduate credits in any academic discipline • At least three years of relevant work experience • Applicants from all backgrounds, genders, and political affiliations are welcome Application Process 1. Ensure eligibility by confirming graduate credit completion and work experience 2. Prepare application materials as outlined by the program 3. Submit a complete application through the Fellowship’s official website 4. Participate in the selection process if shortlisted 5. Accepted Fellows will begin the program in January and enroll full-time at Rockefeller College The Fellowship is a six-month, rigorous and multi-faceted leadership development program primarily for graduate students. It is designed to provide a springboard for aspiring public service leaders, regardless of sex, gender or political affiliation, to pursue careers in public policy while increasing the capacity of New York State government and civil society.
