Des Moines Women's Club Literature Scholarship

The DMWC annually awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors, college students, and students pursuing higher education degrees. This year, the DMWC will give scholarships in areas of study including art, drama, music, STEM, Music Education, Elementary Education, and Veterinary Sciences.Scholarship Details• Award amount: $2,000.• Application deadline: January 27th.• Recipients will be notified by March 10th.• The scholarship recipient is requested to attend the DMWC Scholarship Award Program on April 16th.Eligibility Criteria• Must be a graduating high school senior with a passion for reading and writing.• Must attend an accredited college, university, or conservatory.• Must be a legal resident or registered student in Polk, Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Story, or Warren County.• Must apply for only one Des Moines Women's Club scholarship per year.Application Process1. Complete all sections of the scholarship application.2. Only complete applications, including references, will be considered.3.
