The Diversity Scholarship is offered to members of the National Society of High School Scholars. High school students with a commitment to changing diversity and inclusion within their school, community, or workplace are strongly encouraged to apply. NSHSS awards $2,000 to five (5) high school sophomore, junior, or senior students who have demonstrated a commitment to expanding the diversity and inclusion initiatives in their school, community, or workplace. To provide a school culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion teaches students something that's even more important: how to live in, relate to, and thrive in a world where every individual is unique. Application requirements include an educator recommendation, a 500-800 word prompt response, an academic resume, a color headshot suitable for website posing, and a current transcript (can be official or unofficial).
