Edison Scholars Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in the service area of Southern California Edison (SCE) who plan to major in designated fields of STEM at a college in any state. Edison International awards $50,000 college scholarships annually to 30 high school seniors to help them pursue their passion in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) and empower them to make a meaningful impact in their communities. Must be a high school senior with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Must plan to attend a four-year accredited college or university and pursue STEM programs. Eligible STEM majors: computer and information systems, engineering, engineering technology, management information systems, mathematics, natural resources and conservation, and physical sciences. Must live in Southern California Edison's service area. The top 50 finalists will be required to submit a short video explaining how they plan to make a difference in their communities with a STEM education. Note: Dependents of Edison International and SCE employees and retirees are not eligible.
