Epic's aviation scholarship program continues to grow each year to support young people interested in aviation. The Epic Flight Academy Aviation Scholarships are open to currently a junior or senior attending high school in the U.S. for the flight training scholarships. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation; at least one must be from a high school teacher, counselor, coach, or other school official. Full scholarship to earn a Private Pilot's License (up to $20,000 in flight training) and a partial scholarship of $5,000 toward flight training are available. Applicants must create a YouTube video. In two minutes or less, creatively explain why you feel that you are the strongest candidate to receive a scholarship. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information. The 2026 (11th Annual) Epic Aviation Scholarship Awards are open to U.S. high school students only. The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. For the flight training scholarships, the applicant must currently be a junior or senior attending high school in the U.S.; for the aircraft mechanic scholarship, the applicant must currently be a senior attending high school in the U.S. Applicants must be turning 16 years of age or older on or before December 31, 2026 (flight training) or 18 years old by time of completing the program (aircraft mechanic). All applicants must be able to start training within 12 months of receiving the scholarship and use the scholarship within 24 months. Applicants must have parent or guardian approval if under 18, have reliable transportation to attend Epic Flight Academy or be willing to relocate, and present a Third Class Medical for the flight training scholarship. The deadline to submit an application is October 1, 2026. Awards include the $20,000 Captain Judy Rice Pilot Scholarship, ten $5,000 Pilot Scholarships, the $5,000 King Air Nation Pilot Scholarship, two $20,000 Aircraft Mechanic Scholarships, and two $10,000 Aircraft Mechanic Scholarships. Required application materials include two letters of recommendation, a YouTube video (2 minutes or less), a PDF of community service and extracurricular activities (pilots only), a PDF with responses to two short essay prompts (pilots only), and an aviation-related photo.
