The Georgia Foundation Scholarship for Agriculture Program is open to graduating high school seniors in Georgia who are planning to pursue a degree in an agriculture-related field. Students who plan to attend an approved Georgia institutions are welcome to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of leadership and academic strength. The Foundation will award 10 scholarships of $3,000 each. The top 2 ranking applicants will be eligible for an additional $1,500 bonus. To be eligible, applicant must: Be a Georgia resident; be majoring in agriculture and environmental sciences, family and consumer sciences or a related agriculture field; finish high school within the year student is applying for the scholarship; be engaged in leadership activities in high school; must be planning to enroll in a unit of The University System of Georgia, Berry College or Emmanuel College, OR any accredited college/university in Georgia with an agriculture program during the 2026-2027 academic year; and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA during their first semester of college. Please note: the scholarship will be applied to the spring semester. Application deadline is March 1, 2026. The 2026 application cycle is now closed; applications will reopen in November for the 2027 cycle.
