Houston Section ISA Scholarship

Houston Section ISA Scholarship provides financial assistance to students working on a degree in a field of STEM of interest to the International Society of Automation (ISA). The scholarship supports students pursuing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) degrees at the bachelor's, master's, or PhD level. Applicants must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours for undergraduates; 9+ credit hours for graduates) at an accredited technical school, college, or university in any U.S. state for the Fall 2026 semester. Required application materials include a 500-word essay or two-minute video on academic and career goals, one letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, mentor, or similar individual, and a copy of the most recent transcript. Award amounts are tiered: 1st Place $12,000, 2nd Place $8,000, and 3rd-6th Places $5,000. Applications open January 19, 2026 and close May 1, 2026.
