IMANA Medical Scholarship

The IMANA Medical Scholarship will be awarded to one medical school student and provides a one-time award of $5,000. We are looking for passionate young leaders with a demonstrated commitment to any variety of causes serving humanity. Applicants must be pursuing a Medical degree (M.D./D.O.). Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Applicants must be attending a US accredited institution. The general application requires an unofficial transcript, FAFSA student aid report (SAR), resume, two letters of recommendation, and an essay answer. The application cycle runs from September to March; the 2026-2027 cycle opens September 1, 2026. Winners are announced in June, and awards are distributed at the beginning of the next academic school year's fall semester. Two letters of recommendation must be submitted.
