Margaret Hart Transfer Grant

The Margaret Hart Transfer Grant is a merit-based scholarship awarded to transfer students with a college GPA of 2.99 and below. Students must be transferring 15 or more credits (based on a college transcript). If the student is transferring 14 credits or less, they are only eligible for the Freshman Academic Scholarship based on the student's high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores. No separate application is required; the Office of Admissions awards this scholarship to eligible students upon acceptance into Biola University. The annual award amount is $14,000, and the scholarship is renewable annually (when a minimum GPA is maintained). Students entering Biola for the fall semester must ensure their most up-to-date transcripts are in the possession of Biola's Office of Admissions by July 1; transfer students entering for the spring semester must submit transcripts by December 15. Continuous, full-time enrollment is expected to receive the full scholarship amount; part-time enrollment results in a prorated scholarship (9-11 credits: 75%; 6-8 credits: 50%).
