MEM Scholars Program

The MEM Scholarship offers three $100,000 scholarships over four years to students from Colorado or Washington State. The program is designed to provide generous financial support for students with a sincere passion for their higher education pursuits. Scholarship Details • Three scholarships of $100,000 each over four years • Open to students from Colorado or Washington State • Students must attend an accredited institution in the Fall • Application deadline: October 15th Eligibility Criteria • Must be a graduating high school senior from Colorado or Washington • Must have lived in Colorado or Washington for the full Junior and Senior years of high school • Minimum weighted GPA of 3.5 and ACT score of 28+ or SAT score of 1200+ • Must be a U.S. citizen or in the process of obtaining legal status • Demonstrate financial need with an AGI of $150,000 or less on the 2023 federal tax return Application Process 1. Submit the online application form 2. Provide high school transcripts and test scores (ACT or SAT) 3. Submit proof of U.S. citizenship or legal status 4. Provide financial documentation, including the 2023 federal tax return 5. Top 10 finalists will be invited for personal interviews Michael McGoldrick was a successful academic, teacher, investor, conservationist, and patron of the arts. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, and exploring. He had a voracious appetite for both knowledge and adventure. While he enjoyed a variety of professional careers, there was a common thread of helping others expand their knowledge, whether in the classroom or board room. He encouraged his students and co-workers to consider the world through a lens of comparative economics and compassionate human rights.
