The N.E.W. Master Gardeners Association Horticulture Scholarship is open to Wisconsin residents who are planning to pursue post-secondary education in plant sciences, including botany and plant ecology, horticulture science, forestry, entomology, plant pathology, or landscape horticulture fields are encouraged to apply. Additional details from the awarder: Students must be a Wisconsin resident studying one of the following to qualify: plant sciences including botany and plant ecology, horticulture science, forestry, entomology, plant pathology or landscape horticulture. This scholarship requires an additional essay about the applicant's interests in horticulture, any field experience completed and his or her future plans. Award amount typically ranges from $1,000- $3,000 for one year. Students are eligible to reapply. Application window: Dec. 1 – March 15. The application process will take 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. You'll need your most recent high school transcript saved as a PDF for easy uploading.
