The Nanook Pledge Scholarship for Alaska Residents provides four years of predictable financial assistance. Selection for this scholarship is based on previous academic success and the rate of tuition for which you qualify. Students who graduate in less than four years may be eligible to use remaining years for a graduate program, with permission by the Financial Aid Office. First-year students and transfer students may apply for the scholarship. Students with a high school GPA of 3.8 or higher may receive $5,000 per year, which is $20,000 for over four years; those with a high school GPA of 3.5 - 3.79 may receive $4,000 per year, which is $16,000 for over four years; and those with a high school GPA of 3.2 - 3.49 may receive $2,000 per year, which is $8,000 for over four years. Transfer students with a previous college GPA of 3.8 or higher may receive $3,000 per year, which is $12,000 for over four years; and transfer students with a previous college GPA of 3.0 - 3.79 may receive $1,000 per year, which is $4,000 for over four years.
