For more than 80 years, the Nebraska Trucking Association has been advocating for and promoting the trucking industry in Nebraska. They represent more than 860 companies from every part of the state. Their more than 500 motor carrier members range from many single-truck owner-operators, all the way to some of the nation's largest companies. Throughout their generosity, the Nebraska Trucking Association is offering a scholarship. The Nebraska Trucking Foundation Truck Driving (CDL) and/or Diesel Technology Scholarship Form is awarded to students pursuing transportation, distribution or logistics studies at eligible schools in Nebraska or Iowa. The award amounts will vary. The Nebraska Trucking Foundation awards scholarships on a rolling, monthly basis. Scholarships are available to men and women ages 18 and older. Applicants must be enrolled in a truck driver training and/or diesel technology program at a Nebraska community college, including Iowa Western Community College. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Training Scholarships are available for up to $1,500 to support Nebraska students in pursuing their dreams of driving the open road. Diesel Technology Training Scholarships are available for up to $3,000 to support Nebraska students dreaming of working on our country's big rigs.
