Pete Freeman Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to dependents of Marine Corps Aviation Logisticians who are interested in attending college in any state. The 2026 scholarship season will open 26 June and close 24 July. This scholarship is available to all dependents (Wife, Husband, Children), or Grandchildren, of Aviation Logisticians (Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Ordnance, Avionics, or Aviation Supply), who are active duty, reserve, retired or veteran Marines. The 2026 Scholarship will only be accepting applications via the online application portal. Applications must be submitted by (Noon) 12:00 PM on 24 July 2026. Required materials include: a grades transcript with GPA from high school, college/university/trade school; confirmation of classes and credit hours enrolled in for the upcoming Fall semester from a selected college/university or trade school; SAT/ACT score results (current year high school graduate only); and an essay of 150-200 words covering why you have chosen your selected profession, what are your plans for the future, why you should receive this scholarship, and how the Marine Corps has impacted your life.
