Renaissance Scholars Program - Spring

The Renaissance Scholars Program - Spring is open to high school seniors who reside in Illinois or Oregon, college students attending a 4-year school in Illinois or Oregon, commuity college students attending a school in those states who are planning to transfer to a 4-year school, or students attending Elizabeth City State University, Stillman College, or North Carolina Central University. Students who are the first in their families to attend a 4-year college are encouraged to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstrate strength of character and a strong work ethic. The mission of the Renaissance Scholars Program (RSP) is to provide scholarships to talented first-generation students with significant financial need. The Program offers a renewable college scholarship of up to $5,000 per academic year (a maximum of $20,000 toward your bachelor's degree). RSP works closely with a variety of partners to connect students with mentoring organizations on their college campuses. RSP provides additional growth opportunities and resources for scholars, including in-person and virtual events.
