Rizing Tide Crest Scholarship

Rizing Tide offers an annual Crest scholarship of $14,000 to underrepresented BIPOC students pursuing a physical therapy degree. Eligible applicants are first or second-year DPT students or PTAs entering a PTA-to-DPT bridge program. Scholarships are renewable twice. Eligibility: To qualify, you must: • Be in your first or second year of a DPT program. • Attend a CAPTE-accredited PT program in the U.S. • Have an underrepresented racial/ethnic heritage. • Maintain a 3.2 GPA. • Be a U.S. citizen or have DACA status. Application: Submit by the specified deadline. Technical support is available on weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time. Letters of recommendation can be submitted digitally or by mail. Selection: Finalists will be interviewed via Zoom by the Beachcombers selection committee. Winners will be notified within 60 days of the deadline. Renewal: Crest scholarship recipients may renew twice by maintaining a 3.2 GPA and submitting an instructor's feedback survey. Individual situations will be considered for renewal.
