SFM Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Iowa and Minnesota whose parent was injured or killed in a work-related accident and who are interested in attending college in any state. This program is open to residents of Iowa and Minnesota between 16 and 25 years of age who are high school students, GED recipients, or high school graduates. Applicants must be the natural, adopted or stepchild of a worker injured or killed in a workrelated accident during the course and scope of employment with an Iowa- or Minnesota-based employer and entitled to receive benefits under the workers' compensation laws of their state. They must be planning to work on an associate or bachelor's degree or a certificate or license from an accredited school in any state. Financial need is considered in the selection process.
