The Students for Healthcare Equity Scholarship supports students from historically underserved populations who are pursuing studies in healthcare or an allied health field. Recipients are chosen for their introspective ideas and academic strength, with special consideration given to those with work experience. Award: $5,000 scholarship toward the recipient's degree or certification, renewable for up to three years for a potential total award amount of $20,000. Eligibility: - Be a current, enrolled student pursuing a healthcare or allied healthcare career at an accredited program recognized by the student's state - Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) - Self-identify as a person from an underrepresented population in the healthcare field Finalists will be asked to complete an additional video or written submission.
