Scholarships are a type of financial aid that does not need to be repaid, and are awarded based on merit—your grades, ability, or talent. The following scholarships are available to Taylor University students. Merit-based aid is provided through university scholarship awards based on your test scores and GPA. This is where your hard work in high school pays off! Students interested in academic awards must have the required ACT, SAT, or CLT score and GPA to receive the amount listed. To be eligible for the Taylor University Academic Scholarships, applicants must be incoming freshmen with a 2.5 GPA (and may need to submit an ACT or SAT score, depending on the award). The scholarship received is determined by adding GPA points to find your total scholarship points as described on the scholarship provider's website. Dollar amounts will vary by award (with one having the ability to cover up to full tuition), and students will need to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA for three of the scholarships. To be eligible for any scholarship, applicants must apply to be entering in the upcoming Fall. The number of recipients will vary.
