The Ulysses G. Ford III Scholarship provides financial assistance for college students from historically underserved populations studying public administration, public policy and social services, political science, urban affairs and studies, or a related field. Special consideration is given to students attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Minimum 3.00 GPA. Resident of the U.S. Graduate student. Seeking a graduate degree. Studying for a degree in public administration, public policy and social services, political science, urban affairs and studies, or a related field. Fulltime student. Historically underserved population. Previous National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) recipients are not eligible to apply. Preference is given to students attending 4year HBCUs. NFBPA scholarship amounts range from $2,000 to $10,000, and applicants must be pursuing full-time education at accredited, traditional four-year colleges or universities, particularly those engaged in public service.
