Undergraduate ScholarSHPE Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate student members of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) who are preparing for a career in a field of STEM. Financial barriers remain one of the most significant challenges for underrepresented students from different communities, especially those from Hispanic communities, pursuing their STEM degrees. With more than 1,500 scholarships awarded since 2018 totaling over $6,000,000, SHPE is actively opening pathways in the STEM education pipeline for our members. ScholarSHPE provides opportunities for graduating high school seniors beginning a STEM undergraduate career at a community college or 4-year university, and undergraduate students pursuing a degree in STEM at any stage of their undergraduate career. Students must be enrolled full-time at a community college or 4-year university.
