Willie A. Deese Scholarship

The Willie A. Deese Scholarship is available to all majors in the Deese College of Business and Economics. Full scholarship recipients will receive tuition, fees, traditional housing, and a meal plan. The application for incoming freshmen will open on August 15, 2024, and the priority and final deadline is November 15, 2024, and December 15, 2024, respectively. On the other hand, the application for current and transfer students will open on January 15, 2025, and the application deadline will be on March 15, 2025. Applications for enrollment will not require the ACT/SAT to enter into the Honors College; however, applicants will be reviewed holistically to include a completed application, essays, transcript evaluation, extracurricular involvement, letters of recommendation, and interview (if applicable). Candidates for the Distinguished Endowed Scholarships are notified by late January and may require an in-person interview during the University's Honors Weekend in February.
