Media Alliance of Houston Scholarship

Media Alliance of Houston Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduates from Houston or at colleges in Texas who are working on a degree in a media-related field. The Media Alliance of Houston will award scholarships to college juniors or seniors who have at least one full-time semester of college remaining. The scholarship is open to students attending a public or private university that offers radio, television, film, public relations, advertising/communications, digital media or broadcasting as the major emphasis of study, as well as students from the Greater Houston Area who are studying these fields. Candidates must have completed 75 hours of college course work by December 2025 and be currently enrolled as a full-time student (carrying a minimum of 12 hours per semester) with a declared major in radio, television, film, public relations, advertising/communications, digital media or broadcasting. The application deadline is April 1, 2026. The Media Alliance of Houston Scholarship Committee reviews all applications and selects award recipients based on educational and career goals in the major field of study, activities and honors, service to community, and references. Scholarship winners will be notified in May 2026 and formally announced in July 2026 at the organization's monthly luncheon.
