Texas A&M University offers the Regents' Scholarship of up to $6,000 to incoming first-generation freshmen with financial need. Scholarship Details • This scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years for those who remain eligible • Either the FAFSA or the Texas Application for Student Financial Aid is acceptable to demonstrate financial need • About 1,000 students each year are admitted to the Regents' Scholarship program Eligibility Criteria • Admitted as a Texas A&M University freshman • First-generation • Demonstrated financial need • Full-time • Living on campus (with limited exceptions) • Satisfactory academic progress (for renewal Application Process 1. Submit the FAFSA or the Texas Application for Student Financial aid in advance of the deadline 2. Apply and receive admission to Texas A&M University in advance of the deadline via the Common Application 3. Gather all required documents, including: 4. Students who meet the above criteria will automatically be considered for the Regents' Scholarship Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
